Lost motivation? Here’s how to regain it!
Lost motivation? Here’s how to regain it!
It’s reached that point in the year when motivation begins to fail and those New Year’s resolutions you made are now a distant memory. You have all the excuses under the sun for not doing that Zumba class, or skipping those early morning Kettlebells, and it’s time to shake things up! Use our 5 tops tips to get you moving more:

1) Reboot your mindset
If you’re in a motivational funk, you’re probably mentally exhausted and the best cure for a tired negative mind is moving more. If you look at exercise as boring and hard work, try redefining what a workout means to you. Look at those 30 minutes at a fitness class as an endorphin-releasing positive experience rather than a necessary chore!
2) Book a One-to-one
Our fitness instructors are there to help you, so let them! They will boost your motivation with personalised workout plans and nutritional advice tailored specifically to you and what you want to achieve. By setting realistic attainable goals, you’ll find new ways to work out and hopefully get your mojo back!
3) Wear that workout gear
Trust us, this works. Half the battle is convincing yourself to start getting ready, so get that workout gear on and you’re halfway there! Or if you need an extra nudge in the right direction, treat yourself to some new workout gear so you can strut around the gym and show it off!
4) Love that post-workout high
Recognising how upbeat and happy you feel after a workout will help motivate your future workouts! Log your workouts, including how they made you feel then next time you’re lacking motivation, read about how amazing you felt after that run.
5) Try something new
Sometimes all it takes is finding something new to spark enjoyment! We have over 45 group exercise classes per week with new ones being added every month so get yourself along to one and try it out for yourself, you may end up loving it. From Zumba, Clubbercise and Fitsteps to HIIT, Kettlebells and Weight It Up, we have it all!
